The White Pass Country Historical Society is hiring a Museum Manager for the Packwood Museum! Preserve the history and heritage of our small mountain logging community as you become a vital part of this popular gateway to Mount Rainier National Park, White Pass Ski Area, and the other National Forests, Wilderness Areas, rivers and lakes around us.
The Museum Manager shall carry out the organization’s mission and policies in close relation and input with the Board of Directors. Desired qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study, skills, experience and other qualifications commensurate with duties in the following areas:
- Leadership & Planning
- Financial Management, Grant Writing & Fundraising
- Board Relations
- Staff Management & Oversight
- Community Relations
- Collection Curation, Display and Interpretation
- Museum Programs & Events
This is a new position, and the Board of Directors will be refining the job description and posting it on our website prior to interviews.
